TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
